Open and close shift on a tablet

Open shift

To open a shift on a tablet, open Bakeit.app application and click an Employee under whose name you want to open shift. The last employees having logged in on this device will be shown. In case the required name is not on the list press the button Find employee.

Enter the required name in the search bar and click on the needed tile from the drop-down list.

After that enter the pin-code assigned to the employee when creating a profile.

The shift is open now. After login there will be sales menu on a cashier’s dashboard, and production menu for a baker.

Close shift

To close the shift click Menu – three stripes in the top-left corner of the screen.

Scroll down the drop-down list and press Exit.

It is enough to close shift by a Baker. If you close shift under the name of a Cashier, cash reconciliation needs to be done before doing this operation.
